Licensing paths

Start with the intended use.

Personal vs. commercial use

Private, non-commercial use is different from releasing, monetizing, promoting, broadcasting, or placing music in a project. Commercial and public uses require the appropriate written permission. The final agreement—not this page—defines what is permitted.

Beat licensing

A beat license can support an artist release, demo, performance, or another agreed use. Availability, exclusivity, files, credits, distribution, and usage rights are confirmed for the selected track and project.

Sync licensing

Sync licensing covers music paired with visual media. Share the track, edit, media, territory, term, budget, and deadline so the requested rights can be reviewed accurately.

Custom scoring

When an existing track is not the right answer, Odogg Productions can discuss original music composed to the timing, emotion, and delivery needs of the project.

What shapes a quote

Rights follow context.

No fixed prices or blanket legal terms are published here. These details help define a fair, project-specific scope.

Exclusivity

Clarifies whether a track can continue to be licensed or whether a project is requesting exclusive rights. Availability must be confirmed for each track.

Stems

Separate musical elements may be requested for an edit or mix. Available files and delivery requirements are confirmed before licensing.

Revisions

Custom production and scoring may include an agreed revision process. The number and type of revisions depend on the project scope.

Territory

Defines the countries or regions in which the music will be used.

Term

Defines how long the approved use lasts. Perpetual or limited terms must be discussed and written into the agreement.

Media

Defines where the music will appear, such as an artist release, film, broadcast, streaming, web, social, live event, or paid campaign.

Quote process

Enough detail to make the next step useful.

  1. 01Send the track or creative need, intended media, territory, term, budget, deadline, and project context.
  2. 02Odogg Productions reviews availability, creative fit, deliverables, and the rights the use requires.
  3. 03If the project is a fit, scope, fee, files, revisions, credit, and license terms are confirmed in writing before use.
